How Does A Top Stylist Improve Their Income?
To become a top stylist or get to the top of any industry you must do
what others won't. And that is exactly where the line is drawn in the
sand and 80 to 85% of all stylists don't go any further.
Enter a man that is on it hard and fast. I won't mention his name nor
his town although he is most certainly a real person working in an area
that has many other salons that people could go to. But the unique
thing about this man is that he is constantly looking for ways to
improve his bottom line. And that's how we met, by his buying my ebook
on marketing and implementing it into his business. He is making a very
healthy income right now and will within the next year get into the
magical place of six figures.
I hope you understand what I'm saying, because this man will make over
$100,000 dollars next year. This is very good money as you could
imagine for stylist practicing a niche in his salon. Since the average income for a stylist is between
$30 to $50K a year, I think you would have to believe that this top
stylist is knocking it out of the park.
And how does he accomplish such things? Good question.
By learning, and learning, and learning some more. He has figured out
that his competition is not competition because most won't do anything
other than come to work put in their time and go home. Oh yea ... they
will complain about not making enough money. Human nature is so
predictable!
I' not going to list all the various ways to improve your income,
that's what this website is all about. This page is to incourage you to
get involved in forums so you can spend time with other top stylists
that want to improve their earnings.
And guess who wins?
Everyone.
The top stylist wins as they pass their experience on to others ...
meaning that they are still learning how to implement new steps or
strategies into their business.
The good stylists win as they begin to do what they've been taught.
The freshman stylists wins ... you know the ones just out of
cosmetology school - all the way up to about five years in business, as
they can really make a mark quickly IF they would learn that there is
more to making money than just cutting hair. You have to learn how to
market and brand yourself.
And all this comes to be through many different ways but most certainly
through forums. And I do have one to suggest to you to look at that I
believe will help you. And that is NZhairdressers. As you might suspect
from the name they are in New Zealand, and have many interesting
aspects on their forum for hairdressers. Check it out for yourself and let me know what
you think.
