Salon Blogs Deepens Your Clients Loyalty To You

Developing simple salon blogs will open the doors to a continued social relationship with all of your clients. And that will of course take the loyalty level up and up and up.

Keeping your name in front of your clients is always a good idea; it also gives you the opportunity to:

  • promote your business
  • sell your products
  • offer a special incentive for referrals
  • offer a coupon to get your clients in to your salon more often
  • offer a coupon for a discount on some of your products
  • you can do product reviews
  • giving all kinds of beauty tips

Having a blog is like having a running commentary on you and your business. You only have to make a post (entry) once or twice a week.

You could talk about maybe painting a new color inside the salon and ask for suggestions. You could talk about your pet cat or dog that all your clients are used to seeing when they come in.

Keeping the conversation light and airy, telling a few jokes, maybe some current events like a concert or play that's coming. There's so many things that you can use the blog for to develop a social community with your clientele. This is getting more and more important as loyalty to businesses and service providers is harder to maintain.

Equally important with this strategy is to have your clients participate in your blog. They can do this by posting their comments on your blog. When this happens the community begins to grow and that is exactly what you want to happen.

Starting a blog is very easy to do and there are a number of places that you can go to get started. And you can find those that are free to join.

  • Wordpress
  • Blogger
  • Typepad

Google these names and explore the world of blogging.

This also helps you to develop credibility in the community and it will kill the competition. Why? How many hairdressers have their own blog?

So this will also catapult you to the expert category because you maintain constant communication with your clients.

Having salon blogs is a wonderful way to enforce and reinforce your commitment to your clients and that my friends is a great way to build trust.
